Privacy Policy

Overview

Color Anything is operated by Misquamicut Technologies LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Color Anything iOS or Android app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to provide the service:

You can use the app without an account (it uses an anonymous session). Signing in with Google or Apple is optional: it saves your pages and page balance to your account so they are not tied to a single device, and it is required only to redeem a promo code. We do not collect or store passwords; authentication is handled entirely by Google or Apple.

To understand what people make and improve the app, we may run automated analysis across uploaded photos that sorts them into broad categories, such as a pet, a family group, or a holiday. Only the categories are kept, counted in aggregate. No person reviews your photos for this, we do not use your photos or pages to train AI models, and the analysis follows the same 90-day deletion as everything else.

We use the following services to operate the app:

Advertising measurement

We advertise Color Anything on Facebook and Instagram. To learn which ads bring people to the app, the app includes the Meta SDK, and RevenueCat reports completed purchases to Meta. Together they share a small set of app events (app install and open, first coloring page created, sign-in completed, checkout started, and purchase with its price) along with device identifiers.

On iOS, the app asks your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and only after you have made your first coloring page. If you allow tracking, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and, if you signed in, a hashed version of your email address may be used to match your activity to ads you saw. If you decline, we do not access the IDFA, and Meta receives only aggregated, privacy-preserving measurement through Apple's SKAdNetwork. You can change this anytime in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.

On Android, the app may use your device's advertising ID for the same purpose. You can reset it or opt out of ads personalization in your device settings.

We never share your photos, your coloring pages, or the text you type with Meta or any advertising partner. We do not sell your personal information.

Email from us

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the email address on that account. We use it for two things. The first is service email about your account, your purchases, or an important change to the app. The second is occasional email about Color Anything itself, such as asking how you are using it, inviting your feedback, or asking whether you would leave a review. We send both from hello@coloranythingapp.com.

If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, we never see your real address. We reach you through Apple's private email relay, and you can switch that forwarding off at any time in your Apple ID settings.

Every message that is not service email tells you how to stop receiving them, and you can opt out at any time by replying to one or writing to us. We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it with advertisers beyond the hashed ad matching described in Advertising measurement above.

Device permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

You may deny any permission, but doing so will limit the related feature. The app will always explain why a permission is needed before requesting it.

Data retention and deletion

Photos you upload and the coloring pages made from them are stored in Firebase Storage and kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically. Pages you delete in the app are removed within about a week. Save or print a page to keep it. Analytics data is retained per Google's standard Firebase Analytics retention settings. Purchase records are retained as required for financial recordkeeping.

To request deletion of your data, email us at hello@coloranythingapp.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time.

Children

Color Anything is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
